lol.

really funny, well made song.

However, your vocals sound...bad. It sounds you're singing through a pvc pipe.

very well written though.

nimble-nick responds:

lol, well... my mic sucks... and I did add a voice effect. I'm glad you liked it though... and besides, at least I didn't use auto-tune... I'm fairly happy with the vocal effect though, I might tweak it later on.

Really great.

very good ambient music. It's chilled out enough that it can fade into the background, however it's also interesting enough that you can listen to it on it's own. Lots of different sounds and textures combine together cohesively. Even the lead sounds that stand out a bit sound like they belong.

nitpick: when things pan from left to right, that makes song a little bit more "active" then I felt it should have been. However, that also makes it more interesting and keeps it from being 1 dimensional. Also, the voice sample sounds like it sticks out a little bit too much. I wish it was a little bit quieter or had a little reverb on it; something to make it blend a little better.

However, those are just nitpicks. This is a great song that could have a variety of application in games or flash videos. 5/5

ephixa responds:

Ah yes the vocals. I guess they do stand out a little bit. I appreciate the constructive critique a lot. :)

inventive.

cool. The printer makes it sound very synthetic and electronic. . I especially like the ramp up all the way from the beggining up until 0:25, sounds almost "glitchy". Awesome use of some very weird sounds

alextheDJ responds:

Thanks! :D and also thanks for the speedy review. I just uploaded it like a minute ago

better

I listened to all your songs and I feel like this one is the best.

but still, I wish your songs had more of a structure. You know; a beggining, middle and end. It's one short guitar riff and a techno beat that doesn't really suit it well. I feel like should a lot more too it.

HakitaSasaki responds:

Yeah, but I get bored of stuff pretty quickly. When I make up on good riff, I usually get bored before I make a whole song of it.

incoherent

lots of noise, and it doesn't really fit together. it's kinda all over the place. The two best words that could sum up this song are "wacky" and "evil".

Drum pattern was okay though.

What program are you using? this can't be fruity loops.

HakitaSasaki responds:

Im using Guitar Pro 5 with a few RSEs. Thanks for the feedback.

alright.

sounds like doom.

HakitaSasaki responds:

Thanks, I loved Doom's soundtrack!

not for me.

Wow, when you said "don't expect a melody", you weren't kidding. I don't really have anything constructive to say so I'm not going to vote on it. I just think that gabber may not be my type of music.

Still, it was an interesting piece of music to listen too, thanks for posting.

edg3Runn3r responds:

I like your honesty, gabber and hardcore really isn't for just anyone due to the harsh beats and such, my other stuff is more melodic.

not bad.

I admire simplicity, but this is a little sparse. It could do with a hi-hat and some background noise. It also doesn't progress very much; it ends pretty much the way it starts.

However, it does sound like you have a knack for putting a beat with a melody. Even though I nit-picked at it, I can't deny that it made my head bop a little. It's a very chill-out combination of sounds. I just wish there was a little bit more to it.

Lazermonkey93 responds:

yea. this was one of my earlier beats and have to admit. it sounds good with a hi-hat or off beat shaker

eh.

I feel mixed about this. I like the basics of it; but the bass is terrible (you already knew that). If you could just change it some something deeper that would make all the difference in the world. Also, it kinda feels like this is 2 minutes of music stretched out into 4.

I love it when it got all glitchy at the end. That was a really nice, unexpected touch. I also like the little voice clip at the end, which is significant because I usually hate random voice clips thrown into songs.

Voting 5 for the benifit of the doubt.

Lazermonkey93 responds:

lol thanks man. i would change the bass but fl studio doesnt wanna work today so maybe in 1million years we might see results. and the only reason why its 4 mins long is because my cuz needed a song that was about that length so yea

really cool

This is great. I don't know why you felt the need to use the "author comments" section to defend the song. The song speaks for itself.

I love all the different sounds and textures of it. I also love that little jumpy "step-up" effect you use at 1:00. This is awesome; you've really got a great thing here.

tijnn responds:

Oh but i do not defend the song, i'm just letting everyone know that there is no need to give hints or tips etc, since i'm a little different in making music than most people.

I'm glad you liked it though, and to get things really clear, i'm not defending anything here (:

Thanks for the kind words though, really, i appreciate it.

Now Tayne I can get into!
